Stand up for life at annual Life Chain

GREENVILLE – Annually, on the first Sunday in October, Life Chain invites people in each city and town across North America to stand on a designated local sidewalk and pray. Holding sign messages such as: Abortion Kills Children; Jesus Forgives and Heals; Adoption: The Loving Option; Lord, Forgive Us and Our Nation; Abortion Hurts Women; Pray to End Abortion; and Life – The First Inalienable Right.

In 2012, over 1500 cities and towns held Life Chains (in over 1700 locations). Darke County Right to Life will once again be participating. Life Chain is a time for prayerful self-analysis, repentance, and serious commitment to helping end abortion in our nation.

Its first goal is to bring attention to the sacredness of human life. Surgical killing and mutilation has resulted in over 45 million preborn Americans, plus untold millions who have fallen victim to abortive chemicals and medical neglect.

Please attend Darke County's Life Chain on Oct. 6, 1:30–2:30 p.m. They will meet at Romer’s Catering, 118 E. Main St., Greenville. They will stand in public in support of the unborn and the sanctity of human life in a quiet manor. Dress accordingly for the weather and bring a lawn chair if necessary.
