March for Babies Walk Raises over $105,000

GREENVILLE - The annual March for Babies was held April 27 in Greenville. Approximately 600 persons walked the five-mile or one-mile family course. Darke County businesses and individuals raised over $105,000 to help research, prevent, and cure birth defects. Shown are some of the scenes from the annual walk.
Greenville Technology, Inc. raised over $41,000 in support of the company's ambassador, Greyson Sigman. Greyson spent 90 days in the Intensive Care Unit at Children's Hospital after he was born.

The March of Dimes Ambassador, Ruth Ann Carity, was recognized prior to the walk.  Her mother noted that when she was born she could have fit in a Velveeta Cheese box.
