GREENVILLE--Bling, fun, and fashion was the theme for the Greenville Business & Professional Women’s Club’s April 11 meeting, held at the Thirsty Turtle Clubhouse, located just outside Greenville. Gail Snyder, Colleen Marchal and Tasha Anderson planned the fun evening in which all members and guests were invited to dress in their best bling.
Lelah Shoop and Hala Knapke, co-owners of Youniques Boutique, showcased some of their spring line of scarves, jewelry and clothes available in the store. Pam Sharp from Merle Norman Cosmetics offered a display of make-up, jewelry and handbags. Pam also gave some tips on the new make-up colors for spring and invited everyone to come to the shop for a facial or makeover. Colleen Marchal showed some swimsuits and a negligee from Pamela’s Intimate Apparel. All three shops are located in downtown Greenville. The evening concluded with an opportunity to purchase all of the wonderful scarves, jewelry, clothes and purses that were on display.
The Greenville BPW Club’s mission is to achieve equity for all women in the workplace through advocacy, education, and information. The Club holds fundraisers through the year to raise money to grant scholarships to the young women of Darke County. The Club meets the second Thursday of every month for a dinner meeting.
