Lowe’s Home Improvement Partners with Bob Evans to Raise Money for Kids with Muscular Dystrophy

GREENVILLE – Lowe’s Home Improvement, 1550 Wagner Avenue in Greenville, and Bob Evans, 1366 Wagner Avenue in Greenville, are teaming up with the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) March 5, 6, and 7, during store hours to help raise money to send local children with neuromuscular disease to MDA Summer Camp. Lowe’s Home Improvement has stood with MDA in the fight against muscle disease for many years.

Bob Evans will offer 15% of sales this day to MDA as long as a flyer for the event is presented. Flyers may be obtained by visiting Lowe’s on Wagner Avenue, during store hours, from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. or print one off from the flyer below. The proceeds collected from the percent of sales event will aid local children in the Dayton and Cincinnati greater areas with neuromuscular diseases. MDA offers many services to its families, including support groups, clinic care, diagnostic testing, durable medical equipment loan and repair program, and a weeklong summer camp for local children ages 6-17 to attend. MDA maintains clinics for area adults and children affected by neuromuscular disease at the University of Cincinnati and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.

For many years, Lowe’s and MDA have partnered to fight neuromuscular diseases in an effort to find a cure.

As if it doesn’t suffice for Lowe’s employees to help customers with a broad range of home improvement needs, employees find time to go even beyond that calling to help raise money for many children and adults alike, who are afflicted with neuromuscular diseases (including ALS), in an effort to make life a little easier for these families. Lowe’s in Greenville has collected several thousand dollars over the past several years in an effort to fight neuromuscular disease. This year is no different, as this store is one of the top-ranked in selling shamrocks to date, surpassing $3,500 to date, and going, with the full month of March to go!

Please save your $1, $5, and $20 bills and donate at Lowe’s, or have a meal at Bob Evans on March 5, 6, and 7, from 6 am to 9 pm, to help make a difference!

Other upcoming events:

Hot Head Burritos in Greenville is doing a flat 10% of sales the entire day, to benefit MDA/Lowe’s on March 13. JT’s Bar and Grill will also be doing a flat 10% of sales the entire day, to benefit MDA/Lowe’s on March 11.
