‘Rockin’ for a Cure’ theme of annual dance

UNION CITY, IN--The Union City Benevolent Protective Order of Elks #1534 invites everyone to attend its annual dance and benefit auction on Feb. 23. This year’s theme is “Rockin’ For a Cure,” featuring the band “The American Kings.”

A pre-sale for tickets will be Feb. 9, 3 to 6 p.m. Tickets cost $20 and will include dinner, dance, and entertainment.

Doors will open at 5 p.m. with dinner served at 6 p.m. Entrance at the door, after 8 p.m. is $15 per person.

Several big-ticket items will be auctioned throughout the night: items from Eldora Speedway, Vera Bradley, Ohio State, Lowes, and many more. The event will also offer a raffle to win your choice of an LCD 50” television or an Apple Ipad with $25 iTunes gift card. Tickets are on sale now for $5 each. Tickets can be purchased at ELKS club, Union City Indiana Utilities Department office, and Old National Bank.

Each year, with the help of local businesses, members, and the local community, the Union City, Indiana B.P.O. ELKS #1534 is able to raise funds to help support direct, cancer research.
