GTS honors rider

GREENVILLE – Elaine McMahan, of Greenville, is Greenville Transit System (GTS) featured rider. Elaine has been riding GTS for about two years since her husband became ill. She rides the transit regularly to get to her hair appointments, American Legion and the Eagles.

Ms. McMahan is active in the American Legion Auxiliary and is the Past President. She has been married to her husband for 63 years and has three children and four grandchildren. She enjoys collecting antiques when she has the time.

She stated that she enjoys all the drivers who drive for GTS and considers them her “friends”.
