Dr. Jones to speak at Support Group

Dr. Paul Jones

GREENVILLE—Dr. Paul Jones will discuss the role of the human/animal bond at the Cancer Association of Darke County’s Feb. 7 support group meeting, 7 p.m., in the third floor conference room at Wayne HealthCare.

Dr. Jones is a 1987 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He has owned his own small animal practice in Greenville since 1989. He is a member of the American Veterinary Association and the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association. In addition to practicing veterinary medicine in Greenville Dr. Jones has, for the past 11 years, taught police officers first aid for their canine partners at a Canine Unit Training Center in Wapakoneta. He consulted on the set up of companion animals at the Brethren's Home and continues to care for the pets there.

Dr. Jones has three children, two stepchildren, a new grandson in Illinois, and a granddaughter who loves to visit “Grampa” at work. He resides in Darke County with his wife, Kathy, three dogs, four cats, two horses, and a flock of homing pigeons.
