GREENVILLE--Just in time for the upcoming maple sugaring season, join the Darke County Park District on Feb. 16, 1 p.m., to learn this new skill! Participants will learn how to tap your own maples, how and when to collect the sap and how to go about turning that sap into maple goodness! Demonstrations and hands-on experience will ensure that by the end of the program, you’ll have the skills needed to produce your very own maple syrup, sugar and more! Please dress for the weather as we will spend the majority of our time outdoors and in the Sugar Shack. This program is FREE but you need to pre-register as space is limited (for ages 8 and up); call the Nature Center, 548-0165.
