Randolph Co. Tea Party plans meeting

WINCHESTER, IN – The Randolph County Tea Party will meet Feb. 7, 6:30 p.m., at the Winchester Moose, 181 N Middle School Road, Winchester. The speaker is the Indiana Coordinator for the National Tea Party Patriots.

The Randolph County Tea Party was initiated in April 2009 and over the past four years has worked to support American ideals and educate ourselves and others about America. Their mission is "to restore limited government, fiscal responsibility and accountable representation through activism and education.” They started with three people and now have a contact list of 189 people. They meet twice a month and average between 25 and 35 people at each meeting and more when they have guest speakers.

The main topic at the last meeting was a video on United Nations Agenda 21. This is a two-decade old plan for global ‘Sustainable Development’. George H.W. Bush and 177 world leaders agreed to it in 1992 and in 1995 Bill Clinton signed Executive Order #12858, creating a Presidential Council on ‘Sustainable Development’ effectively pushing the UN plan into America’s large government machine without discussion by Congress or the American people.

What is at risk? -- Private Property Ownership—Single Family Homes and Farm Ownership—Private Car Ownership and Travel Choices--etc. They suggest all concerned citizens research Agenda 21 and decide if you want the country to be controlled by the United Nations. They encourage everyone to contact all elected officials and educate them on the issue. Agenda 21 is being implemented in this country daily. The state of Alabama has passed legislation to ban all aspects of Agenda 21 and Indiana currently has a bill in process to ban Agenda 21. If you want to see the cities that are implementing Agenda 21 visit www.iclei.org.

Also at this meeting, they continued their efforts to be informed as Sharon Smith gave a presentation on how the Electoral College works.
