GREENVILLE – Koenig Equipment recently gave a helping hand to the Darke County Park District by trucking logs to Shawnee Prairie Preserve for their newest venture, a Blacksmith Shop. Darke County Parks’ Director Roger Van Frank stated he is “thrilled with not only the monetary help received but with the time and labor donated by these individuals and companies.”
Van Frank and his staff also expressed their appreciation for Randy Lamarr, of Botkins, for the donation of logs and Allen Bohman, of Yorkshire, for his assistance in trucking the logs. Shrader Retreading donated a forklift and helped unload the logs.
If anyone is interested in helping with this project or have materials to donate, contact Jim Poeppelman, 467-4397, or Van Frank, 548-0165.
