Dance benefits Senior Scribes Scholarship

GREENVILLE—On Dec. 1, the regular Saturday Evening Dance at the Eagles on Third Street, was to held benefit the Darke County Senior Scribes Scholarship Fund.

Surrounded by beautiful holiday lighting, guests danced to the lively music of the band, Tempest. Good food from the kitchen and beverages from the bar were available to be enjoyed while listening or in between dances, as the band provided danceable music from ballads to music with a more contemporary beat.

Senior Scribes, a local group of writers, gives scholarships each year to deserving high school seniors who are planning to pursue a media related career.

Call the Eagles for information and/or a schedule of upcoming events.

Couples enjoyed dancing to the music of Tempest at the Eagles at the Dec. 1 dance, sponsored by the Eagles to benefit the Senior Scribes Scholarship Fund.
