VERSAILLES—This year’s Versailles FareFest will be held  Aug. 18, on the Versailles Fountain Square, 2 to 5 p.m.

Presale tickets, $40 each, can be purchased at the Inn at Versailles or by calling 526-3020. Tickets will also be sold at the door for $45. Food-only tickets are available for $20 each.

Those prices include a commemorative wine glass that permits you to enjoy wine, beer, and food for three hours. Food vendors include Coco’s Bistro, Davis Meats, Coldwater Café, King’s Poultry, Montage Café, Michael Anthony’s at The Inn, The Bridge Restaurant, Café Veranda, Sideliners, Carolines, Greenfire Bistro, Fat Cat Diner, Sabai, Delish, Ledoux and Ghyslain Gourmet Chocolates. Wine/Beer Vendors include Winery at Versailles, Heidelberg, Wine Trends, 55 degrees, Firelands, Natural States, Glaziers, McNab Ridge Winery, Vintner’s Select, C & G Distributors, Bonbright Distributors and Premium Beverage.  Some of the Featured Wines to be served are Kendall Jackson, Columbia Crest, Chateau Ste. Michelle, Firelands, Winery at Versailles, Mirrassou, Concannon, Mumm, Jacob’s Creek, Graffigna, Mon Ami, Marchese Montefusco, Easley, 14 Hands, Cambria, Matanzas Creek and Edmeades.

Entertainment will be provided by “Almost Empty” featuring Tyler DeMange, Zach Rosenbeck, and Phil Niekamp and “Freelance” with Roger DeMange and Steve Rosenbeck.

This event will be hosted by the Versailles High School Alumni Association with a portion of the profits going toward college scholarships.
