No strawberries at Panther Creek Farm

(The following is a note from Panther Creek Farm)
To our many Strawberry friends and customers: There comes a time when changes in one’s life must be made. It is with regret and sadness that we have decided to discontinue our strawberry operation. Because of age and health issues this decision has become necessary.
To each of you we express our thanks. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to serve and be a presence in this community for the past 30 years. We will miss greeting you as you have come to the berry farm year after year, whether to pick your own berries or to get them already picked. We remember the many young people, some who are now adults, who came as faithful “berry pickers” coming when needed. Thank you to Ball Publishing “The Early Bird,” for the many years of advertising letting people know when our berries were ready for harvest.
We will continue be here at the farm. If all goes as planned we will have pumpkins, gourds, etc. for sale this fall.
With prayers and God’s Blessing,
Lowell and Ruth Cook
