Booker resumes history tours of Greenville

GREENVILLE – Local Historian Bill Booker will soon be resuming his tours of Greenville-Union Cemetery and Greenville Historic Homes. Booker is the author of six books on Greenville’s history and life along its streets.
The Historic Homes Tour features information on the buildings on both sides of Broadway as well as the historic homes in the downtown Greenville area. The Cemetery Tour provides information on some of legendary figures, both locally and nationally, interred at the cemetery. All tours are approximately 95-minutes and include brief rest stops along the way. Tours are given rain or shine (except storm conditions).
All downtown tours will depart from the picnic table at the city building. Cemetery tours depart from the main entrance archway.
